Project V is a series I created that focuses on the unique challenges that many Veterans face after they separate from service. The main purpose is integration back into “normal” society. But in reality, re-integration never fully occurs.
As Veterans have encountered unique experiences both in the States and abroad, we are all changed forever in how we think, how we act, and how we see the world.
For many, integration is difficult. For some it is impossible. The reality is that many of us walk around wearing an invisible mask. This mask hides many scars, both visible and non-visible. The hope is that one day we can remove the mask.
With this series the hope is that people who have never served, can begin to understand Veterans, the end goal being that we can remove the mask.
